All--
Eve and I spoke yesterday about the Concordia Workshop at the RSA Conference
and, rather than pinging individual participants, we thought it best to ping
the entire community here for feedback on the event. I was a pleased
bystander watching with a mother's pride, basking in the great work that you
did :). True interoperability against two scenarios in a reasonably short
amount of time is definitely something to be proud of, and I know a lot of
blood, sweat, tears, and late nights went into that, so I thank all of you
for your efforts. And we know we have plenty ahead of us....so.....
I know that this group put a lot of thought into the format for the event,
and wanted to gather feedback on that, with an eye toward anything we may
want to plan in the future (and knowing these crowd numbers were a pleasant
surprise for all of us!).
I heard a lot of excellent feedback from general participants, press and
analysts who attended in terms of caliber of material and depth of knowledge
of participants. People generally liked that they could either "sit,
listen, and learn" or go to the rear of the room and dig in deep on specific
topics of individual interest. I also know that the "competing discussions"
was distracting for some.
So....feedback on the event and format? Wish list for future? Lessons
learned?
Again...thanks to those in the front line who participated as well as the
supporting cast--all of you--who helped flesh out and drive these scenarios
forward, with extra particular thanks to the deployers who helped articulate
the needs in the first place--and sticking around to make sure it was done
right!
Thanks.
