Colleagues:
Several of us have been discussing a Concordia workshop on the topic of Entitlements and Fine-Grained Authorization in the Enterprise
A synopsis of the session follows:
"Entitlements and fine-grained authorization allow enterprises to manage access to different resources and enables them to meet compliance goals. This meeting will focus on customer experiences with building systems and architectures to meet these goals. There will also be analysis to understand how existing standards such as XACML, SAML and SPML can be used in these architectures, and where these standards have gaps and may need extension."
We are thinking of an agenda similar to past sessions where deployers discuss their requirements, followed by an interactive dialog among all attendees on possible approaches.
At this point, there are two significant financial institutions who have expressed strong interest in participating and several vendors.
We'd like to know if there are others who are interested in the topic and whether a mid-February time frame in New York City would work.
Please reply to me or the list and let us know if you are interested in participating and/or attending. Given the timing, we're interested in nailing this down as soon as possible.
Best regards,
Roger K. Sullivan
